These balls were originally designed for what I call Yamuna Bed Ball. They’re an easy, passive way to open your body just by sleeping on them. Release those shoulder muscles, your back, chest tension, hips, etc. Once you are more advanced with the other Yamuna ball, you can graduate to using these for deeper bone release in regular body rolling – though I personally rarely use them that way. I do, however, use them on airplanes all the time!

Yamuna advanced blue balls are smaller then the black calf balls (approximately 3 1/2 inches in diameter). They have the same consistency as the silver ball.
